Welcome to TCM Acupuncture Ottawa!

This website is a resource for Acupuncture related news, advice, and information from the point of view of an Acupuncture Practitioner living and working in Orleans, Ontario.
Meghan Graham graduated from the Acupuncture Practitioner program at the International Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Ottawa with Honours. Meghan is a member, in good standing with the Canadian Association of Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine.

Originally from Nova Scotia, Meghan experienced first hand the healing benefits of Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine in 2007 upon returning home after a life-changing two years living and working in Japan. Meghan moved to Ottawa in August 2008 to study Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine. Many patients remark that as an Acupuncture Practitioner Meghan is kind, gentle, and caring. She truly believes in the healing power of Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine, and knows patients will benefit from the holistic and personal approach to treatments the practice provides. In Traditional Chinese Medicine there is a saying:

Tong bing yi zhi,
Yi bing tong zhi

which means;

different diseases, one treatment,
one disease, different treatments

Meghan keeps this saying in mind when approaching each treatment, insuring that the individual attention and care each patient needs to achieve their health goals is always a focus of the treatment plan.

Meghan also studied at Saint Mary’s University in Halifax, where she completed a Bachelor of Arts with a double major in Honours Asian Studies and Cultural Anthropology in 2005.
